WHATSUB Spring Event 2026
The WHATSUB network for female scientists at the University of Bonn cordially invites you to its spring event!
We are pleased to welcome philosopher and university lecturer Amrei Bahr as our guest speaker. She will give a keynote talk entitled „Überzogene Erwartungen: Warum Wissenschaftlerinnen stets mehr tun müssen — und wie wir das ändern können“ , offering valuable insights into scientific career paths.

Event information: The event is bilingual-friendly. The lecture will be held in German, but questions and contributions to the discussion in English are also welcome.
The venue is barrier-free accessible. The number of participants is limited.
Digital Lunch Meeting

The first online event of the semester took place as a digital lunch meeting on the topic of ‘Essential and Evolving? Women's Networks in Academia'. We discussed the role of women’s networks in academic life and talked about WHATSUB's future. We were particularly pleased to hear your thoughts on what you hope to achieve with WHATSUB in the coming year.
